We are textile based and will always remain textile based; we will focus all our energies on textile crafts for the masses

Valuing and supporting employees...
We aspire to always pay above minimum wage, have more than fair terms for holiday and sickness and actively encourage personal development, progression & advancement

Everything branded as Sumptuosity will be made by us...
We will never 'farm-out' work or have any production in 'developing countries'; furthermore, we will try to ensure where possible to use products that have been made 'fairly'

Reusing and Recycling...
We work with second-hand vintage fabrics and usually anything as small as 10mm square is used

We will reuse or give others to use all our silk fabric off-cuts

We will recycle (where we can) all packaging from purchased items as packaging for dispatched orders

Supporting local education establishments...
We try each year to support one regional textile/fashion/design end-of-year degree courses with sponsorship and content for catalogues

Supporting students...
We will endevour to always make time for students and will provide 'rounded' fully inclusive placements that encompass all aspects of our craft business
